What is Revitalize?

The revitalize treatment is a unique treatment which blends two of our most popular treatments together, combining the benefits of both Micropeel and Laser Genesis treatments. The exfoliation from this treatment works to decrease dryness and smooth the appearance and texture of skin. Working through gently heating the upper layers or the skin to stimulate collagen, Revitalize helps diminish the look of rosacea, redness, pore size, and fine lines.

What to Expect at Treatment?

This combination treatment begins with an exfoliating dermaplane, which will gently remove dead skin cells and “peach fuzz”. After your skin is clean and exfoliated, your esthetician will utilize the Laser Genesis to improve the overall tone and complexion of the skin. Lastly, a light chemical peel is added to the skin for additional exfoliation and to encourage cell turnover.

Revitalize is not considered painful, however, some clients find themselves a bit warm during the Laser Genesis portion of treatment and a slight stinging sensation when the chemical peel is applied.

What Does the Downtime & Recovery Look like for Revitalize?

The Revitalize treatment is a great summertime option, as there is little to no downtime associated with this treatment. Your skin may be slightly red when leaving your scheduled appointment, but any redness or warmth should subside within a few hours. You may resume normal activity immediately receiving treatment. Some clients can also experience mild dryness of the skin for a few days following the chemical peel.

A thick moisturizer and SPF should be worn with special caution for the following few days.

How Many Treatments are Needed for Optimal Results?

The Revitalize treatment is a great pick-me-up throughout the year, and similar to the Laser Genesis alone, results are best seen with a series of treatments. Typically, a series of four to six treatments is recommended. These treatments are spaced approximately four weeks apart.
