What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is an FDA-approved skin treatment method that combines two proven technologies:
Radiofrequency (RF) treatment — which uses controlled heat to tighten lax skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Microneedling — which uses fine needles to prick the skin and stimulate new tissue growth resulting in a smoothing and firming effect, which in turn evens complexion and minimizes scars and wrinkles.
Morpheus8 microneedling penetrates deeper than other microneedling procedures to diminish the signs of aging. Morpheus8 can be used almost anywhere on the body, but is most commonly used to treat the face, neck and abdomen.

What to expect at treatment?
After your consultation (or anytime before your scheduled treatment), you will receive topical numbing cream. This needs to be applied starting one hour before your scheduled treatment time. The amount of treatment time may vary based on treatment area, but generally Morpheus8 treatment takes approximately an hour. With the topical numbing cream, pain or discomfort should be minimized and tolerable.
What does the recovery look like for Morpheus8?
Expect some redness, swelling, and a warm or tight sensation immediately after the procedure, similar to a mild sunburn. These side effects typically subside within a few days. Full results, including collagen stimulation and skin tightening, become visible over the following weeks and months with optimal results appearing within three months.
How many treatments are needed for optimal results?
Morpheus8 results are accumulating, with stronger and better results with each series of treatments. 3 treatments spaced approximately 6 weeks apart are recommended for the best, most noticeable results in the shortest amount of time. After initial treatments, many patients have annual treatment sessions to maintain their rejuvenated appearance indefinitely.
